Another day, another crop of new films added to the Toronto International Film Festival. Yesterday the fest announced more titles to their 2012 edition and we're happy to spotlight two more TFI alums which have made it in. Both coming from our TAA program and screening in TIFF's Contemporary World Cinema section, Annemarie Jacir's When I Saw You is set in 1967 Jordan where an 11-year-old boy and his mother, displaced in a refugee camp after the occupation of their West Bank village, try to adjust to their new life and hope for a better future. Sudz Sutherland's Home Again follows three people with very different backgrounds who are trying to make new lives for themselves after being deported from their adopted countries for minor criminal offenses. These two films add to the growing list of TFI titles headed to TIFF, which already include docs Free Angela and 9.79*. The Toronto International Film Festival takes place September 6-16.
