Alexandra is a documentary filmmaker and artist whose work has been recognized by the Wasserman Awards, National Board of Review, British Council, and Thirteen. Her award-winning short “Citizen Zero” screened in festivals nationwide. In 2014, she created a filmmaking workshop for refugees in Greece in conjunction with an NGO supported by the European Commission and Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Her commercial credits as a director and cinematographer include John Frieda, Maybelline, Cole Haan, Refinery29, and This American Life. She is currently in post-production on a feature documentary about the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election as simulated by a group of Queens high schoolers.
