About

I’m 17 years old, grew up in Harlem and was raised by two Dominican parents in a bilingual household. I attend the High School of Art & Design where I’m a junior studying film. I am currently working on a short narrative film about a young and quirky Dominican girl who always likes to challenge societal norms. As a young girl, she's taught that straight hair is beautiful, but as she gets older she realizes that the hair that grows out of her head isn't straight. I'm also a fan of writing poetry.
