About

Anslem Richardson (writer) is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.A. in Creative Writing. His screenplay, THE SUBWAY STORY. was awarded the Gordon Parks Award for Emerging African American Screenwriting at the 2005 IFP Market. Acting credits include: WHOA (official selection: Sundance), FIVE DEEP BREATHS (Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca; winner LA Film Festival), CHOKED (Sundance), and Off-Broadway in THE EXONERATED. He has a recurring role on As the World Turns and appears in the upcoming films: 2K3 and Vadim Perelman's IN BLOOM. With Marin Gazzaniga, he formed this Thing Films, a production company and community of filmmakers and artists to create non-linear films as part of the Exquisite Corpse Project. He directed the inaugural film: LUCY.
