About

Born and raised in Italy, Federica Belletti is a producer based in New York. She has produced multiple short films in collaboration with filmmakers from all over the world including REFUGE (Montclair Film Festival, NBR Student Award, Kodak Student Award, Refinery29 Best Short at Columbia Film Festival), VIBES (Berlin Feminist Film Week, FilmOut San Diego), NICE TALKING TO YOU (SXSW ‘19, Kodak Student Award), KIKO (Bushwick Film Festival, Syracuse Film Festival), NOWHERE (Museum of Moving Images in New York) and BLISTER. In 2018, Belletti won the Arthur Krim Memorial Award for Excellence in Producing, the Katharina Otto Bernstein Production Award and the Sloan Treatment Award for her pilot DARK MATTERS. Belletti interned at Gamechanger Films, the Austin Film Festival and Maven Pictures. In 2018 she freelanced as Location Manager for Animal Kingdom, Big Mouth Productions and for TAPE, a feature inspired by the #metoo campaign. She is the first person to crowdfund a post graduate education program at Columbia University’s School of the Arts where she obtained her MFA degree in 2018, and holds a BA with honors in Media and Communication from IULM University in Milan. Belletti is currently working at CounterNarrative Films, where she is assistant to Anna Gerb and Neal Dodson.
