Georgia Lee has directed five short films. Her first two, The Big Dish: Tiananmen '89 and Bloom have shown at numerous film festivals and Bloom was broadcast as part of The Reel New York series on PBS. In 2000, she was selected as Martin Scorses's apprentice on Gangs of New York in Rome. Her short-film Educated won Best Short Film at the Durango Film Festival and was also broadcast as part of the Reel New York series. Lee recently completed two short films, Basic Emotions and Diagnosis, and her first feature film Red Doors, which screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. Lee graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Harvard University.
