Holli Hopkins McGinley’s love for movie making was sparked on the set of SHAUN OF THE DEAD, where she played a blood-thirsty zombie. Shortly after graduating from Columbia College Chicago with a producing concentration, she produced her first feature film for $30,000. ALL MY FRIENDS ARE FUNERAL SINGERS premiered at Sundance and was distributed by IndiePix Films.
McGinley’s extensive resume includes work on Hollywood blockbusters (THE DARK KNIGHT, WANTED), indie features (AT ANY PRICE, JUST LIKE A WOMAN), and TV series (SIRENS, ER). Her UPM credits include indie features WHAT THEY HAD, LADY GAGA: ARTPOP Tour Visuals, HBO’s upcoming series RUN, and Comedy Central’s SOUTH SIDE.
McGinley has produced several award-winning short films with writer/director Aemilia Scott and is currently in development with her on the features BIRTHDAY SUIT (Hamptons IFF Writer’s Lab, Melissa Mathison FilmPrize) and THREE HOURS.
