Director/Producer James Demo is a versatile independent filmmaker who writes, directs and produces. His film First Time Long Time, a short comedy, stars John Savage as the lead, and co-stars Emmy award-winner Amanda Plummer and Hollywood icon Karen Black. In 2006, Demo founded Central Square Films, since the start of this company, Mr. Demo has filmed Wynton Marsalis for Time Magazine, Aerosmith frontman Stephen Tyler, and a spot with Neil Gaimon for the launch of a game based on his “Haunted Mansion.” He is currently working on a series of short documentaries focusing on the christian/muslim divide for journalist Charles Sennott’s Global Post news website and finishing his film The Peacemaker which follows peacemaker Padraig O’Malley over the course of 5 years.
