Megumi Sasaki, director and producer, was born and raised in Japan and has lived in New York City since 1988. Megumi has had an extensive career as a journalist in Japanese television and print media. Between 1992 and 1995, Megumi held a fulltime position for NHK, Japan Broadcasting Corporation -- Japan’s largest and sole public broadcaster -- as an anchor, reporter, and news director for the most watched morning program in the country, “Ohayo Nippon: Good Morning Japan.” Since 1996, she has worked as a freelance field producer on dozens of television documentary programs covering areas as diverse as art, science, business, and international affairs. ‘Herb and Dorothy' is Megumi’s first feature documentary film as a director and producer.
