Andrea Janakas recently completed her MFA in Directing at The American Film Institute. Her script,, earned her the 2005 Fuji Student Filmmaker Award, screened at The Seattle International Film Festival and at the Los Angeles Film Festival, and won the Jury Prize at the Palm Springs International Shorts Festival. She recently completed the Film Independent Screenwriter's Lab with co-writer Phinneas Kiyomura for their project Beds & Graves.
