Logline

A well-written screenplay that focuses on a group traditionally (and inexplicably) underrepresented on screen-precocious grade-school girls-that maintains universal appeal. All of the elements are there for a unique screenplay with a strong and sound science focus, and through this program, the writer will be afforded the time to flesh out several subplots while bolstering the main narrative.

Nancy Isaak

Writer

Even though Nancy Isaak has always wanted to write for feature films, she has traveled a circuitous route getting there. Her previous jobs have included being a California State Park Aide, a Kelly Girl, and a Communications Corporal in the Armed Forces. In between, she has acted in over 50 commercials, been a stuntwoman, and directed her first short film, The Mostly True Story of a First Date I Once Had. Isaak is most proud of her recent accomplishments: she put a down payment on the first home she has ever owned and went to Russian to adopt her five year old son. Now, if NASA would only admit her to the Space Program, then she says her life would be complete.
