Raised in the Bronx and Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, Thomas Allen Harris is an award-winning filmmaker whose documentary films, installations, and experimental videos have been shown on television, at festivals, in mesuems, and in galleries around the world. His most recent documentary film, That's My Face premiered at the Toronto, Sundance, Berlin, and Tribeca film festivals and received more than eight international awards, including the Jury Award for Artistic Excellence at the Atlanta Film Festival, the Ecumenical Jury Prize of Christian Churches at the Berlin Film Festival, and the Best Documentary Award at OUTFEST.
