Tribeca Film Institute and Pond5 have teamed up to launch a comprehensive year-round program that provides grants, mentorship and networking opportunities to TFI Alumni.
As the world’s largest, most vibrant video-first content marketplace, Pond5 is dedicated to provide filmmakers, creators and producers of all kind with the tools they need to improve their projects. Towards this goal, the TFI Pond5 Program seeks to provide innovative and bold storytellers with the funding and mentorship to further their projects and break barriers of access within the media landscape.
The TFI Pond5 Program will open for grant submissions three times to provide furthering funds to TFI Alumni working in any storytelling medium -- including short films, episodic television, interactive or web-based projects. The microgrants are up to $7,000 and any team member who has previously received support through Tribeca Film Institute’s Documentary, Scripted, Interactive or Education Programs is eligible.
The next submissions cycle will open in the fall of 2019.
Please read the Rules and Regulations for eligibility.
Concurrent with each grant submission cycle, TFI will also pair up a select number of projects with a mentor to provide expertise.
As part of the year-round support, the TFI Pond5 Program will organize meet-ups, panels, workshops and events throughout the year to cultivate the TFI Alumni community and provide creators with useful tools and connections to further their projects.
