Community Screening Series

The Community Screening Series is a public initiative of the Tribeca Film Institute which holds free screenings of independent films across various communities and civic spaces to encourage dialogue, introspection, and social action. Film screenings are held across community and public housing centers, religious institutions, and prisons. These screenings are coordinated with community leaders, filmmakers and other local stakeholders. In addition, we offer educational tools in the form of film study guides that can be used by teachers and facilitators.
