2008 Gucci Recipient THE OATH on POV Tuesday, September 21

If you haven't had a chance to catch director Laura Poitras' 2008 Gucci Tribeca Documentary Fund recipient The Oath in theaters near you, fret not. We're happy to report that The Oath will be broadcasting nationally on POV on Tuesday, September 21.

Filmed in Yemen and Cuba, The Oath charts the divergent paths of two men whose personal relationship as brothers-in-law would later be eclipsed by their individual associations with Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda. By looking at their lives in the wake of September 11th, The Oath navigates the spaces between declared principles and choices made, as well as their repercussions.
