The Tribeca Film Fellows program brings 20 young people from NYC to the Tribeca Film Festival (and beyond!) each year, giving these young filmmakers a unique behind-the-scenes look at the Festival, the film industry, higher education and the art of making films.

For young artists who want to develop their artistic abilities and create work for their portfolio.
The Summer Arts Institute Filmmaking Workshop is an intensive, tuition-free, six-week filmmaking course that gives NYC public school students filmmaking training, access to state-of-the-art equipment, and a platform to express their ideas in new and innovative ways. The workshop is produced as part of the larger Summer Arts Institute—an intensive art-making summer program administered by the NYC Department of Education’s Office of the Arts and Special Projects.
