Banker White, TFI Documentary Fund

Banker White was one of the inaugural recipients of the TFI Documentary Fund with his film The Genius of Marian, which follows White's mother Pam in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease as she struggles to hang on to a sense of self. The doc deals with the gradual loss of a parent -- both a tragedy and gift -- and explores the ways our memories shape our personal identities and our legacies.

The Genius of Marian is currently in production, and will be completed in 2012, when the filmmakers plan to submit it to major film festivals. Find out more at BankerWhite.com
