Cinedigm Acquires 'Don't Stop Believin''

Cinedigm Entertainment Group announced today that it's aquired U.S. rights to TFI Documentary Fund grantee Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey.

The Tribeca Film Festival favorite, which recently was the opening film at Silverdocs, is directed by Ramona S. Diaz and follows the too-good-to-be-true story of Journey's current frontman, Filipino singer Arnel Pineda, who went from YouTube sensation to singing some of the greatest rock ballads of all time.

The film is set to be released in theaters and On-Demand in spring 2013, followed by its TV premiere on PBS' Independent Lens in the summer.

Cinedigm has become a major player in indie acquisitions since it made headlines in April when it bought New Video, one of the world's largest aggregators of independent digital content.
