‘Meet The Patels’ Wins Audience Award at LAFF

The Los Angeles Film Festival announced their award winners tonight and TFI Documentary Fund alum Meet The Patels has received the Best Documentary Feature Audience Award.

Directed by brother/sister tandem Ravi V. Patel and Geeta V. Patel, the film looks at Ravi who at 30-years-old decides to find love the old fashioned way, by asking his parents to help him.

LAFF marked the U.S. premiere of the film, previous to that it had its world premiere at Hot Docs in Toronto.

Though we're pretty excited by the news of their win, as you can see from the film's Facebook page, our joy can't top the Patels. Congrats guys!
