'Once In A Lullaby' Shines At TFF

Once in a Lullaby: The PS22 Chorus Story’s world premiere on the last day of the Tribeca Film Festival screened to a sold out house with the cast and crew in attendance including longtime supporter of the film, Perez Hilton (who knew?). This documentary film, directed by Jonathan Kalafer, chronicles the months leading up to the 2011 Oscars where the chorus of Staten Island’s PS22 performed at the Academy Awards ceremony. TFI’s Education Program Developer Caitlin Meissner moderated the panel which consisted of Kalafer; Gregg Breinberg (chorus teacher at PS22) and Paul King (Executive Director of the Office of the Arts and Special Projects at NYC Department of Education). Next the film will screen at the New Jersey International Film Festival in June.
