Sundance Selects Takes 'Una Noche'

In an announcement sent out today, Sundance Selects has bought the North American rights to TAA alum Una Noche. Writer-director Lucy Mulloy’s breakout hit at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival (winner of Best New Narrative Director, Best Cinematography and Best Actor awards at the fest) follows a day in the lives of three Cuban teens as their struggles in life leaves them to contemplate defecting. The film was selected to TFI’s Tribeca All Access program in 2010 and had its world premiere at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival.
