AUDRIE AND DAISY (2015 GUCCI Tribeca Documentary Fund, AOL Charitable Foundation Award)
In two towns on different sides of America, two teenage girls pass out while intoxicated at high school parties, and, while unconscious, both are sexually assaulted by boys they call their friends. In the aftermath, the girls each endure online harassment, both attempt suicide, and tragically, one girl dies. AUDRIE & DAISY explores this new public square of shame from the perspective of the teenagers and their families – including the boys involved in the assaults and the girls willing to speak out publicly for the first time. WHEN TWO WORLDS COLLIDE (2011 TFI Latin America Media Arts Fund grantee)
This documentary tells the story of an indigenous leader forced into exile and facing 20 years in prison for resisting the environmental ruin of Amazonian lands by big business. Refusing to surrender he continues his quest, shedding light on conflicting visions shaping the fate of the Amazon and the climate future of our world. Ticket Information
KATE PLAYS CHRISTINE (TFI-supported)
Kate Plays Christine tells the fateful story of Christine Chubbuck, a Sarasota newscaster who committed suicide on-air in 1974, by following an actor tasked with portraying her. Ticket Information
