
Filmmaker Magazine has released online their annual list of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film and we're happy to announce that three of our grantees have been selected. Here they are. Congrats to all!

Lyric R. Cabral and David Felix Sutcliff Cabral is a 2013 Tribeca All Access® grantee for her documentary (T)ERROR, which she's co-directing with Sutcliffe. The film captures the spectacular unraveling of an active FBI counterterrorism sting operation, and the dramatic aftermath that occurs when the target of the investigation realizes that a government informant is setting him up. During the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival the film won the TAA Creative Promise award for documentary. The film is currently in production.

Elaine McMillion McMillion is the director of Hollow, a 2012 TFI New Media Fund grantee. Hollow is an interactive participatory documentary looks at working residents in a West Virginia country that are on the brink of extinction. Experience the film here.

Ben Nabors and Michael Tyburski Nabors' (pictured right) film William and the Windmill—about William Kamkwamba, who educated himself how to make a windmill to power his village, inevitably leaping him into stardom—is a 2010 Gucci Tribeca Documentary Fund grantee. The film won the 2013 SXSW Grand Jury Documentary prize. Tyburski shot the film.
