Video: From Science to Fiction

The Tribeca Film Institute was proud to be able to host the 2011 Sloan Summit, a gathering of over 100 emerging screenwriters and filmmakers from six film schools, three film festivals and four screenwriting development programs (among them the TFI Sloan Filmmaker Fund) made possible by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

The video above was shot at the final event of the Summit at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, where Dr. Janna Levin, 2011 TFI Sloan Filmmaker Fundee Anna Ziegler, Dr. Stuart Firestein, filmmaker Lisa Robinson and producer/director Marc Abraham participated on a panel discussion moderated by critic John Anderson.
