Watch Wham! Bam! Islam! on iTunes

Isaac Solotaroff's documentary Wham! Bam! Islam! (TAA, 2009) kicked off PBS's Independent Lens October 13th. It's now available for purchase on iTunes.

The film is the story of Naif Al-Mutawa, a Kuwaiti psychologist who set out to create the first team of superheroes from the Muslim world in response to the rise of political and religious extremism in the Islamic world. Solotaroff explains that "Following Naif's roller-coaster journey has been an adventure beyond anything I ever anticipated and I am thrilled that the the film has been chosen to open this year's season of the Emmy-Award winning Independent Lens."
