A thought leader in the field of Hispanic packaged media and content, Antonio Sosa is currently Vice President Marketing for impreMedia Digital, the No. 1 Hispanic news and information company in the U.S. in online and print. In this capacity Mr. Sosa is responsible for the all outbound marketing and ongoing user interface efforts for a new Spanish-language portal, impre.com, as well as a portfolio of newspaper websites. Prior to this he was Vice President Multicultural Sales and Film Acquisitions for Warner Home Video (a unit of Time-Warner, Inc.). At WHV he was responsible for managing targeted retail sales planning and film acquisition efforts directed at the ethnic home entertainment marketplace.
Prior to joining Warner Home Video, Mr. Sosa was Director Specialty Brand Marketing for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment (News Corp Company). Mr. Sosa was responsible for all Hispanic-targeted brand marketing initiatives. There he managed all specialty film acquisitions for the Fox unit and in 2003 launched Cinema Latino (www.FoxCinemaLatino.com), a collection of 16 award-winning Spanish-language films from throughout Latin America and Spain.
Previously he served as Managing Director Internet and New Media Business Operations for Adir International, Inc., operators of La Curacao, the largest retail services company exclusively targeting the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets respectively. There he developed and launched www.Pasito.com, a Spanish-language ISP, portal, and eCommerce destination supporting the company’s retail operation.
Mr. Sosa is a member of the New York City Latin Entertainment and Media Commission (Economic Development Committee) and a frequent panelist and speaker on issues of Hispanic content and entertainment. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Detroit. He is married with two children and resides in Playa Vista, California.
