Duke was arrested when he was just 18 years old. He has spent the last 24-years in solitary confinement, and always maintained his innocence. During his time on death row, Duke joined the Panthers United for Revolutionary Education, organized protests, and was named Minister of Defense. He is currently in a legal battle fighting for a retrial.
