About
An independent producer and financier for over 20 years, John Hadity most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Motion Pictures & Television Production Finance at Miramax Films. During his 12-year tenure, he oversaw the strategic planning and management of over 250 production entities, and served as production rep on Academy Award-winning films such as Shakespeare in Love, The English Patient, Emma, and Restoration. Prior to Miramax, Hadity played numerous roles in production and acquisition at the Kennedy/ Marshall Company, Tempesta Films, and Orion Classics. He previously served on the World Production and International Tax Committees at the Motion Picture Association of America, and is currently a member of the Producers Guild of America and a Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Gay and Lesbian Allianace Against Defamation (GLAAD).
