Moyo has spent 19-years in solitary confinement, and witnessed over 200 executions. A self-taught artist, Moyo’s work has been exhibited at galleries in New York and Helsinki. Moyo was Jasiri’s friend, creative collaborator, and has continued and expanded Jasiri’s mentorship program with at-risk youth.  

“When I came to prison I was quite inarticulate and made an oath to myself that I wouldn’t ever again allow someone else to tell my story. I would be the one from here on out telling it.”
