Formerly a Direct Marketing Associate at Eastman Kodak, Ryan has delved into cinematography and have shot over 40 films and music videos including clients such as Warner Bros Studios, History Channel, BET, PBS, and Motown Records, . His work has been showcased in some 50 Festivals including a official selection of the 2001 Sundance Film Festival.
A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Ryan went on to shoot his first short "Money Matters." That short was nominated for the IFP Gordon Parks Award and won the Grand Jury Prize at the Harvard Black Film Festival. Ryan also received a Princess Grace Grant for his directorial work. His latest Documentary "The God of a Second Chance" premiered at the AFI's Silver Docs Film Festival and is currently traveling the festival circuit. His recent advances and off the success of his short Money Matters, Ryan is now inspired to develop his short into a feature length.
