Thor Klein is a writer/director from a working class background, based in Berlin/ Germany. He studied screenwriting at the prestigious Film- and Television Academy Berlin (dffb).

His debut feature film was science based mystery thriller LOST PLACE - shot in 3D and mixed in Dolby Atmos.

His second feature film just finished post-production and is sent out to festivals right now: ADVENTURES OF A MATHEMATICIAN is a drama based on the autobiography by Polish- Jewish mathematician Stan Ulam – a German- Polish-British co-production, which got supported by national film funds and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation through TFI and Filmindependent. IndieSales France reps the world.

LEONORA will be his next film based on Elena Poniatowska ́s novel about key female surrealist Leonora Carrington.

Thor got selected for the talent lab Int. Film Festival Reykjavik, he was an artist in residence at The Bothy project in Scotland and an artist in residence on a deserted island in Panama by LaWayaka Current.
