Synopsis

BOLICHICOS is a socio-political, crime-thriller inspired by true events. Set in 2006 Venezuela—at the beginning of the country’s collapse—Alejo Muller, a privileged and ambitious 20-year-old playboy, exploits his former childhood friend Nixon Navarro, the maid’s strait-laced son, to carry out a scam involving the government’s policy to limit the currency exchange market. As the two long-lost brothers join forces and swindle poor people for their own gain, their insatiable greed tears the brothers against each other.​
