She embraces this skill with care, and it has made her a loved and respected figure in her community, where her intimate life is spent in solitude and silence.

Sandra Luz López is an anthropologist and filmmaker, she has worked over ten years in various artistic projects on the Costa Chica of Guerrero and Oaxaca, Mexico. She is now working on the postproduction of her thesis documentary film Artemio at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City.
