Director
Bridget Stokes is a director and storyteller who currently has several projects in development. Bridget will direct feature film EMMETT, in the Spring/Summer of 2018 starring Miles Brown (Blackish) and Rita Wilson and is producing THE LOST HUSBAND, based on the Katherine Center novel of the same name. Bridget produced the narrative feature, THE VOLUNTEER, starring Aunjanue Ellis and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. THE VOLUNTEER won the Best Narrative Feature Award at the Urbanworld Film Festival.
Screenwriter
Wight’s directorial debut, THE VOLUNTEER, won Best Narrative Feature at the Urbanworld Film Festival in New York and starred Aunjanue Ellis, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Scott Wolf, Hill Harper, Mary Beth Hurt, Eisa Davis, and Noah Gray-Cabey. Most recently Vicky optioned the rights to Katherine Center’s acclaimed novel, THE LOST HUSBAND. Wight adapted the screenplay and will direct. She will produce her most recent script, Emmett, currently in preproduciton.
