Billy Luther

Director, Producer

Billy Luther began his film studies at Columbia College Chicago before moving east where he studied at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. He began writing and directing short films through college, including Face Value, a short documentary on racial profiling. He moved to New York City and worked as an assistant at the Smithsonian Institute’s National Museum of the American Indian- Film and Video Center for the 2000 and 2003 Native American Film and Video Festival. In 2002, Billy moved to Los Angeles and was selected as an honoree at IFP/LA’s Project:Involve and was mentored by Alex Smith co-writer/co-director of The Slaughter Rule.

Duana Butler

Producer

Duana C. Butler is a Harlem based producer/director currently at work on her first documentary feature. She has worked on several independent productions including The Watermelon Woman, A Question of Color, and Just Another Girl on the I.R.T. Ms. Butler serves as production/curatorial advisor for the 2005 season of WNET’s Reel NY series and was recently Director of Marketing for Film/Video Arts, a nonprofit media arts center in NYC.

Fenton Bailey

Executive Producer

Fenton Bailey is an Award-winning film director and producer.  Fenton Bailey founded World of Wonder Productions with Randy Barbato in 1990. Since then, they have directed and produced a wide variety of documentary features and series in both US and UK: Showbiz Moms & Dads (Bravo), an in-depth look into the lives of fame-hungry families, Monica in Black and White (HBO) and Gay Republicans (Trio), which won the Audience Award at the AFI Film Festival 2004, Manhattan Cable, The Adam and Joe Show, Hot Property, Andy Warhol: The Complete Picture and Pornography: The Secret History of Civilization. In 2003, Bailey and Barbato released their first dramatic feature film, Party Monster (based on their documentary of the same title) starring Macaulay Culkin and Seth Green. This year marks the release of the feature documentary Inside Deep Throat, which the pair directed, and produced with Imagine Entertainment's Brian Grazer. World of Wonder is currently in production on the series, Showdogs Moms & Dads, which delves into the world of enthusiastic dog breeders and Tammy Faye: Death Defying, which follows the televangelist's life and death struggle with cancer.
