Following a near-fatal car accident, Lu wrestles with creeping invisibility as she approaches the second half of her life. Myna Joseph’s award-winning short film MAN screened at Cannes in Directors’ Fortnight, as well as Sundance, SXSW, and New Directors/New Films Festival. She was nominated for a 2016 Independent Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay for THE MEND, which was presented by David Gordon Green, and released to acclaim from The New York Times, The Guardian, TimeOut, The Village Voice, The Wall Street Journal, TIME magazine, and hailed by as “one of the very best American independent films you'll see this year.” Myna is currently in pre-production on her feature film CHARLOTTE XVI, shooting in 2019 starring Maya Thurman-Hawke (STRANGER THINGS, LITTLE WOMEN) and Emily Mortimer (THE NEWSROOM, LOVELY AND AMAZING).

Lucy is currently playing Sandy Furlbee on the CBS All Access series, ONE DOLLAR directed by Craig Zobel and about to begin filming on BULL, also for CBS. Lucy Owen’s film credits include MISS SLOANE with Jessica Chastain, directed by John Madden; KELLY & CAL opposite Juliette Lewis and Cybill Shepherd; RICKI AND THE FLASH directed by Jonathan Demme; SHADOWS & LIES starring James Franco; HIGHER GROUND with Vera Farmiga, and THE MEND opposite Josh Lucas.
