Out Run is a feature documentary that follows two pioneering LGBT activists in conservative parts of the world as they undertake highly visible and dangerous new struggles as openly gay candidates running for public office.

S. Leo Chiang is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker based in San Francisco and Taipei. His work has received support from Tribeca, Sundance, & ITVS, among others. He is currently the co-chair of New Day Films. His film, A VILLAGE CALLED VERSAILLES, about the rebuilding and transformation of the Vietnamese American community in post-Katrina New Orleans, picked up eight film festival awards, aired on PBS Independent Lens series, and has been acquired by more than 200 libraries.
Johnny Symons

Johnny Symons is an Emmy-nominated Bay area documentarian specializing in films on LGBT life. His films include Sundance favorite Daddy & Papa (PBS), Beyond Conception (Discovery), and Ask Not (PBS). He teaches documentary at Stanford.
