Director
Paula Heredia is a New York-based dicrector and editor. She won an Emmy for her work on the HBO documentary In Memoriam, NYC 9/11/01 and the American Cinema Editors Artistic Achievement Award for Heredia co-produced the narrative feature Slings and Arrows, which won best screenplay and the Audience Award at the Avignon Film Festival. Her short was awarded the Hispanic Creative Award. Most recently, she directed the documentaries and - Photographer and Bookmaker. She teaches workshops on filmmaking throughout the Americas and serves on the board of New York Women in Film and Television. In 2004, Heredia launched Cinema Digital, a program which educates local emerging filmmakers on the esthetics and technology of digital video.
Screenwriter/Producer
Benjamin Odell has been a screenwriter for ten years and started producing four years ago. As a screenwriter, he created and wrote more than 300 hours of Spanish-language narrative television, won many television awards, and had several of the highest-rated shows in Latin America. He wrote the Colombian political satire which was nomiated for the Goya in 1999 and was Columbia's entry for the best foreign film Oscar in 2000. He is producing a new feature for Singin' in the Rain director Stanley Donen called He was associate producer on Dave Silber's first feature and he has also produced music videos, commericials, and documentaries. He found Centrifugal Films with Jon Stern in 2003.
Producer
John Stern's film credits include producer on Oxygen, Mexico City, and which premiered at Sundance. Stern's television background includes supervising producer of two series for AMC: and The Royale, as well as producer of The Paramour. He also produced the performance documentary for HBO. Stern's television programs have been nominated for Emmy and CableAce Awards and Stern has been nominated for an Emmy and awarded the Humanitas Prize.
