Director/ Screenwriter
Born in Hackney, East London, David studied English Literature before moving into directing. His debut film GROWING won a Best Film Award at the London Short Film Festival and lead to David being invited to the Toronto International Film Festival Talent Lab and being selected for Tribeca All Access. David has since gone on to make films for the 46664 Nelson Mandela Foundation, the Tribeca Film Institute, Film London, the UK Film Council New Cinema Fund, Nowness and the British Film Institute.
Producer
Barrington Paul Robinson is a producer whose company, redbag Pictures, Ltd., was named one of Screen International's "Stats of Tomorrow." Robinson has worked with director Jo Barnes on, director Mary Nighy on her short feature Player, adn with director Jack Herbert on The Hero's Journey. He participated in the 2005 New Horizon Black Producers Scheme, and has been honored as a "Breakthrough Brits 2008" by UK Film Council.
