Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Greer earned his BA in history from Washington University and his MFA in Film and Media Arts from Temple University. Aaron has worked for the St. Louis Black Repertory Theater Company, taught high school, and currently serves as a professor at the University of Alabama, where he teaches film and video production.
His first feature film Gettin Grown is soon to be released by Film Life Inc. His award-winning experimental film Not Color Blind, Just Near Sighted (2003), is distributed by Big Film Shorts and his recently produced documentary Flying Away (2006), is being distributed on public television nationally by NETA.
