Aaron Greer

Screenwriter

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Greer earned his BA in history from Washington University and his MFA in Film and Media Arts from Temple University. Aaron has worked for the St. Louis Black Repertory Theater Company, taught high school, and currently serves as a professor at the University of Alabama, where he teaches film and video production.

Fran Kaplan

Producer/ Screenwriter

Dr. Fran Kaplan served as co-producer on the award-winning feature film Gettin Grown (2004).  Since 1994 she has collaborated on the production, writing and editing of nine 30-45 minute live action educational videos for parents in English and Spanish released by Family Development Resources, Inc. and by Gold Bell Productions. Anthony Ferraro

Producer

Anthony Ferraro brought his artist’s eye and marketing skills to bear as a producer of the award-winning feature film Gettin’ Grown. As a producer he provided script consultation, handled media relations, developed the film’s marketing products, managed locations, and helped make casting, music, and production design decisions. Ferraro has written, produced and directed television commercials. He has also created marketing initiatives and distribution strategies for a variety of media and publishing outlets. He lives and works in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Brad Pruitt

Producer

Brad Pruitt is an award-winning director, writer and producer of documentary and narrative films. His made-for-television movies, In the Net (2002) and Skin Complex (2003) garnered a total of 7 Emmy and 1 Telly Awards. His three-part documentary series on gun violence, Guns, Grief and Grace in America (2002-2006), has screened in festivals and on public television, winning additional awards, including another Telly. Brad worked with educators, social workers, and community advocates to develop curricula to accompany the series for use in educational settings.
