Charlotte Rabate is a French producer and writer/director based in New York. Her short film Lucille in the Sky premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival where it received a special mention. Charlotte has won the AICP award, the Porsche award and was nominated for a Young Director Award at the Cannes' Lions, for her viral spec for Durex. As producer, Charlotte’s films have premiered at the Cannes Film festival, the Venice Film festival, Clermont Ferrand, and the Sundance Film festival. Charlotte earned a Bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics and a Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, with generous support from the W.T.C. Johnson Scholarship and the Tisch Scholarship. She has attended the Berlin Talents as a producer and was a Rawi Screenwriter’s Fellow with her first feature she will be directing, Tourne Cheri, which takes place in Lebanon and Syria.
