Ewan is a creative technologist based in London. Originally trained in fine art at St Martins College of Art and Design, Ewan's practice is informed by a critical, reflexive approach to technology. Ewan then graduated MA Creating Social Media at Goldsmiths, University of London, where he explored the web's potential for social change. He uses code to create social media systems for digitally excluded communities, and which could operate across high-tech and low-tech devices. He is now passionately developing this specialism and always looking for new, creative applications of technology to social issues.

Inspired by the Quipu, the knotted thread communication system of the Incas, this participatory and interactive documentary connects phones to the web to collect and share first-hand accounts of people affected by Peru’s unconsented sterilization policy.
