About
Born and raised in Paris, Tom Dercourt founded the company Les Films a un Dollar in 1996 with his brother Denis. The company distributes and sells films produced by the company. In 2003 Dercourt founded Shellac with Thomas Ordonneau. After purchasing the catalogue of rights of Magouric Distribution, the partners decided to distribute rare films, focusing on garnering press and public appreciation rather than relying on traditional marketing efforts.
